tips to conceal!

flawless Under eye concealer
step One
If your under eye area tends to be dry apply an eye cream to hydrate the area. Start at the inner corner and work outward. I recommend using the ring finger it is the weakest and most gentle.
To help puffiness under the eyes, put a teaspoon in the freezer for a few minutes and gently lay it under your eyes to lessen the swelling.
Pick a concealer about one to two shades lighter than your skin. Use a formula best suited for you preferably the lightest texture possible. A heavier texture will sit in the crevices accentuating what you're trying to disguise.
step two
Before you reach for the concealer, apply a light layer of foundation first. It will even out discoloration and allow for a lighter application of concealer.
It’s best to use the ring finger. If using a brush don’t use a pointed stiff concealer brush. Instead use a clean fluffy small eyeshadow brush.
Starting from the outside area of the eye, apply the concealer towards the nose. Why start from the outside? When applying the concealer in the traditional way from inside to outside it skims across and over the fine lines accentuating the lines.
step three
Moving from the outside inward, the concealer is deposited into the lines creating a smoother result.
Pat and blend the concealer. Patting deposits coverage into the skin. When blending, use a side to side rolling motion.
Give special attention to the edge of where your under-eye circle meets the rest of your cheek for a seamless finish. Using a fluffy small eyeshadow brush for this final step is best.
step four
If you notice creases forming while you’re concealing, lightly smooth them down with a Q-tip on its side in a rolling motion (rather than using the tip straight into the area).
Most concealers and foundations contain oil so that they can lie smoothly and seamlessly on your face. If you tend to have oiliness under the eye area you might consider “setting” it so it doesn’t break down over the course of the day. Dip a small fluffy brush into a little pressed powder and sweep over the oily areas. *Powdering under mature eyes is not recommended. Another option is to split a tissue into two layers, and press one of the sheets against skin to remove excess oil or product.
