How to walk the red carpet or (hint); be the most photogenic person in your group photo!
The Red Carpet Walk: You’ll notice that participants usually walk/enter from right to left.
Pose with the left hand side of the face to the cameras, it has the most expression. (If posing for a group photo always vie to be on the right hand side of the photo).
Hands on hips with fingertips pointed downward and towards the back.
If fingers are faced toward the camera, your shoulders will rise and hide your neck.
Shoulders down, lengthen neck.
Move with the right foot in front of left, toes facing to the right.
Or right foot crossed over left with the hips shifted forward.
Chin to the right.
Neck extended.
Chin down.
Chin out.
Look left.
Place your (eye) gaze at camera.
Relax the eyes.
Smile big.
Instead of saying cheese, say money “moneee”, it will help with the next and final step.
Place your tongue on the roof of your mouth (it will lift a double chin).
Pro-Tip: Natural sun protection (SPF with titanium and zinc ingredients) will show up as a white cast in photography.
